Thinking Environment: Preview Session
Would you like to ‘try before you buy’?
This free 90 minute session offers a great opportunity for us to meet and be with others in a Thinking Environment to think together, to listen to each other, to ask questions, to feel seen and be heard.
You will experience some of the ways in which we can create safe, inclusive, and compassionate thinking spaces, whether it’s with one other human being, or many. At work, at home, in our communities.
These spaces are productive, and easeful - it’s 90 minutes of uninterrupted bliss.
But don’t take my word for it - come and see for yourself.
Dates 2025 - arranged on demand

Time to Think:
Going beyond 11 seconds
Did you know the average amount of time we get to speak before we are interrupted is 11 seconds? Yes - you read that right…11 seconds!
(We take more time to pee than listen to someone else finish their sentence…)
What fabulous insights, creative ideas, solutions and stories are lost when someone stops us mid flow of our thoughts?
What would change if we were encouraged to keep thinking, beyond 11 seconds?
Even better, what if we knew, ahead of time, we weren’t going to be interrupted, at all?
In this preview session, we explore these questions and the powerful impact we can make when we promise not to interrupt and agree to stay genuinely interested in what someone is saying.
We practice with 4 game-changing behaviors as we interact with each other.
In our small group and in pairs, we experience what it’s like to be listened to, fully, without any interruptions. We take turns so that everyone gets a chance to think and speak.
You will leave with some simple, practical ways to enable people to think well in your presence, a preview of how to create a ‘Thinking Environment’ 1:1 or in groups, and why it matters.
Oh, and did I mention ‘free’… yes, just as you would expect.
What’s not to love about free?
All I ask is you come prepared to participate in the group and stay for the entire time to avoid the inevitable interruptions that occur when we join a group late, or leave early.
